The Season of Giving

Every mile helps a child

A portion of all money raised is donated to the Toys for Tots Foundation, along with every toy collected on race day. Toys for Tots delivers new toys to children in need at Christmas. Bring an unwrapped toy to check-in and help us fill the bins.

Good to know

Can I walk the course?

Yes. Walkers are welcome. Wear shoes with good grip, because the trail surface can be uneven, wet or covered in leaves in December.

Can kids run?

Yes. Runners in high school and under compete in their own category. A parent or guardian must complete the registration and accept the waiver for anyone under 18.

What kind of toy should I bring?

A new, unwrapped toy. Toy donations are optional and are not required to race.

Participant waiver & release

By registering, I acknowledge that running or walking a 5K trail course is a physically demanding activity on uneven natural terrain, in weather conditions that may be cold or wet, and that it carries a risk of injury, illness or death. I certify that I am physically able to take part and have not been advised otherwise by a medical professional.

I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks of participating. In exchange for being allowed to participate, I, for myself, my heirs and my assigns, release and hold harmless the event organizers, volunteers, sponsors, the owners and operators of The Forum, and the Toys for Tots program from any and all claims arising from my participation, except claims caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

I authorize event staff to obtain emergency medical treatment for me if needed. I grant permission for photos and video of me taken at the event to be used to promote this and future events.

If the participant is under 18, the parent or legal guardian completing the registration accepts these terms on the participant's behalf.

Registration fees are non-refundable because they support the donation. If the race is cancelled for weather or safety reasons, registered runners will be contacted by phone or email.
